Let me hold you in the shadows
And let not the light, nearby show
Thy face — so innocent yet so tempting.
Let your smile be hidden by the darkness
Revealing only the silhouette of our souls —
Joined as one, on the altar of carnality.
Let our moans and groans be the hymn for Pan
And let us drink the ecstasy of lust and desire.
After the rituals, let’s forget our names,
Lest we need to do it again and again and again
In the middle of awakening the night
and the sleepiness of light.
Mea Culpa…
